It’s that exciting time of year once more! The BAFTA Young Game Designer Awards for 2024 are on the horizon, and we’re thrilled to announce that here at First Coding, we will be launching our popular game design workshops. These workshops are designed to empower individuals to bring their dream games to life and possibly enter them into this prestigious national competition.
Our initial workshop is tailored for secondary school students and will focus on harnessing the power of Scratch. We’ll teach game creators how to package, publish, and even monetise their games, and guide them through the process of planning and refining their creations for the competition stage.
This is an incredible opportunity for aspiring young designers who are committed to making their mark in the industry and gaining recognition for their projects.

Dates: Nov – 18th, 25th Dec – 2nd, 9th
Time: 10am – 11am
Please note: lessons are purchased in blocks of four at a time.
Cost: £60 for a block of 4 lessons.
