£120 for the 6 week course
Over the 6 weeks, students will get the chance to apply their skills learnt in previous modules whilst further developing their computer skills. We then make the transition to writing Python code in easy to follow lessons through the introduction of the BBC micro:bit.
The BBC micro:bit
Every pupil to the course will get given their very own micro:bit to take home and program, making this the ideal course for any child or teenager interested in coding for real world applications in areas such as robotics and electronics.
The module will cover points including:
Building chatbots in Scratch
Introducing Python as a programming language and learning the basics
Introducing the BBC micro:bit and how to program it using Python
Completion of the Introductory course in order to participate in this advanced module is preferred but not essential.
