Each month explores a new theme, from Scratch game design and Python programming to 3D printing – giving creative minds plenty of opportunities to learn, build, and have fun. First Coding is officially gearing up for the BAFTA Young Game Designers Competition with this 3 Saturday morning workshops in October.
Whether your young creator spends hours sketching out original world ideas or tinkering with Scratch to build playable levels, our upcoming workshop is designed to help them turn their creative visions into competition-ready submissions. We will also help prep their games for submission to the competition. Perfect for: Beginners / Intermediates.

Ready to take your coding skills to the next step? Then why not check out our Python workshops that'll be running throughout November. In these workshops you will not only learn the basics of the Python coding language, covering important concepts in a creative way but also get the chance to build an interactive text-based Choose Your Own Adventure game.
Suitable for beginners aged 12 - 16. The Saturday morning workshops are being hosted at The Underground Studios. The Harnham Bunker offers a unique learning experience as it's a converted World War 2 bunker that is now packed full of creativity.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
| First Coding offers a series of school clubs suitable for years 5 through to 9, covering activities such as game design and 3d printing. In our Scratch and Python after-school clubs, students create engaging games while learning the core fundamentals of programming, coding logic, and problem-solving in a fun and accessible way. Our 3D printing clubs introduce pupils to the basics of 3D design, guiding them through creating and printing their own personalised 3D keyrings and models while developing creativity and design skills.
