After an idea was hatched to start a local hill running race, a solution was needed to create a means to record the runners’ times. First Coding helped students develop a system that uses NFC tags. When the green tag is tapped with a phone, it starts a timer. Tapping the red tag stops it and allows the runner’s time to be logged in a Google Form.
